All testing will be held on the 3^rd Friday (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday (2:30 p.m.) of every month. The testing will be closed. This means only those students testing and the instructors will be in the Dojo during testing. We want all distractions to those testing to be minimal. There will be no exceptions to this policy. If you/student are unable to make the test day for that month, you will have to wait for the next test date of the next month.

When you/your child started training with Fiama’s Martial Arts, it was explained to you the procedure of belt progression. I would like to clarify a few points of this progression. The amount of classes and months that are required do not automatically mean a student will be tested for the next rank. A student must not only meet the time requirements but they must be able to perform at the level to which they would be testing for. If a student is eligible to test, it is still up to the Head instructor whether the student will be tested or not. We do not promote students just for the sake of promotion, and we do not want to set our students up for failure. If you need more clarification on this please see Mrs Brooks.

Special Consideration Testing: Special considerations are given to students that my have physical and/or mental disorders. These students are tested on modified standards depending on their condition.
