Little Samurai

Fiama’s Martial Arts Academy began its’ journey in 1998. Sensei David began training four students (including myself) in the back yard of our home. Sensei has trained in the Martial arts for over 30 years. Starting his training in Puerto Rico, Sensei competed on the US Army Tae Kwon Do team and also competed in Germany, Italy, Japan, and Korea. As a team, Sensei and I decided to pass on the tradition of the Arts to those who wanted to enhance their lives with the benefits the arts provide. Over the past 5 years Fiama’s has grown and we have a humble dojo in which we train. Our students are our family and we want them to succeed in all their endeavors, and it is our goal to help them along the way. To Sensei and I, Karate is not a sport but a way of life. The art of Karate provides more than just physical training but also mental wellness and self-esteem. We would like to thank all of those who have come and gone for the joy they have brought to us personally and through the Martial Arts.
